Auction for the chief executive of the metro is held by two separate
positions, as only one of the candidates participate for the whole
property.

The opening of tenders was conducted by a committee designated by the
order of the Executive Director of the beneficiary ( "Metropolitan"
EAD) Eng. Stoyan Bratoev. In the committee included representatives of
the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance, Sofia Municipality, the
Union of auditors of the Court regional management of Sofia-city and
specialists of "Metropolitan" EAD.

The value of the contract for a separate item can not exceed 400 469
000 leva without VAT under Art. 39, para. 3 of the Public Procurement
Act. For the second position value of the contract should not be above
155 555 000 leva without VAT.
Tenders of candidates will be
evaluated for technical and financial criteria. It is one month (July
22 this year) committee to complete work and be declared the result of
the auction.
Contestants are required to submit documents from
the annual financial statements and accounts for revenue and
expenditure for 2005, 2006 and 2007 Applicants must have a total annual
turnover for each of the last three financial years at least 200
million euro. It needs to have available or willingness to provide
funds to cover expenses during the first six months of construction,
which are at least 40 million euro. For the first autonomous position
is required to provide at least 30 million EUR, a second - at least 10
million euro.
